Is Counseling Right For Me?

Counseling can be of benefit to you at any stage of your life and can help you effectively handle the difficult situations you'll experience along the way.  Issues may develop such as stress in the work place or in your personal life, depression, anxiety, anger, the loss of a loved one or perhaps low self esteem, chronic illness and pain, or end of life faith struggles for example. Counseling in a safe and confidential setting will offer opportunities to learn coping skills and relaxation techniques which can help in stressful situations or when you need to unwind after a busy day. Sometimes we get wrapped up in our busy lives and experience challenging situations, or have thoughts and feelings that we don't wish to share with our friends or family. Talking to someone outside of your circle of family and friends can help. Counseling can help you discover why you may do the things you do that might not always be healthy for you physically or emotionally.
